Day 2 Poster Session and Gathering

January 20, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm CST

The FDNS2021 poster session is an online event to highlight the work of early-career researchers. It is open to all participants with an interest in nanomaterials, synthesis, and data. While we strongly encourage everyone (especially students and post-docs) to present a poster, it is not required in order to register.

The poster session will be held virtually using the gather.town platform. Gather is a video chat platform that has avatars move around a map. You need not install or download any software to use gather.town. To participate, you will need: (i) a desktop/laptop computer with a microphone and ideally a camera and (ii) a web browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended). Use of headphones to prevent feedback is strongly recommended.

Poster Prize: Three posters that highlight the interaction between synthesis and data will be selected by the organizers to receive the FDNS21 Poster Prize — a $250 Amazon Gift Card for each. To be considered for the prize, you share a poster at the poster session and be present with your poster during the live session. The winners will be announced towards the end of the session.

Please plan to create your poster in digital format. A poster session program and detailed instructions for accessing the platform and uploading your poster as an image will be sent to all registered participants on Sunday January 17.
